BIOGRAPHY
Charles Mellon is the founder and owner of CCM Architecture & Construction. He is licensed in Washington State to practice Architecture and is certified with the National Council of ArchitecturalRegistration Boards (NCARB). Charles received his Bachelors of Architecture (BArch) from the University of Oregon in 1995 and immediately went into the design-build profession with the creation of a small design-build company in Eugene which lasted for 5 years. Although the business was successful, he decided it was time to officially begin the required Internship Development Program (IDP) to become a licensed Architect, which requires working under a licensed Architect. This led Charles to work in California for 2 years and then with a firm in Bellevue working on schools, city halls, libraries, and other commercial and institutional projects. Upon receiving his license, Charles went out on his own again in 2005 and has been designing and building custom homes in the Puget Sound and Upper Wenatchee Valley ever since. In addition to his home region, Charles has designed homes and commercial buildings in Oregon, California, Colorado and Montana. When not working, Charles spends his time in the mountains and valleys skiing, mountain biking, kayaking and backpacking with his wife Laura and very soon will be introducing his daughter to the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest.
